Job Responsibility :

• Responsible for delivering the roadmap of system firmware (UEFI, SMBIOS, ACPI) and manageability firmware (RTOS, Embedded Linux, Device Drivers, WBEM) components for HP Enterprise servers.
• Work as a part of a global team in collaboratively delivering platform roadmaps
• Sustaining released versions of the products - reproducing, debugging and solving complex customer issues
• Review requirements specifications and lead development of new modules including low level design, coding and unit testing
• Work with the architect in implementing proof of concept for new innovative ideas.
• Mentor junior team members and drive/participate in improvement initiatives

Criteria :

 
• Good working knowledge in C, C++ / Software development lifecycle and engineering processes
• Expertise in Real-time Operating systems – Integrity RTOS, Vxworks, Embedded Linux
• Knowledge of Server architecture, firmware and management standards and protocols (UEFI, SMBIOS, ACPI, IPMI, WBEM, WS-Man)
• Knowledge in Networking and connectivity protocols
• Expertise in debugging in an embedded environment
• Expertise in Clearcase/Subversion development environment
• Excellent team player with good communication skills
