Job description and the skill specs is as given below -
Education : Any Graduation.
Exp -2 to 4 yrs of exp in performance tunning
Position is for L2 level
Skills / Attributes Required for Oracle DBA
1. Proficient in Installation, Configuration, Maintenance and Tuning of Oracle 10g/ 9i and ASM, Linux, Windows server family platforms.
2. Implemented Backup & Recovery strategies using RMAN and Hot/Cold backup for Oracle 10g/9i databases in Windows and LINUX environment.
3. Performing daily maintenance tasks like space management, rectifying locking problems, managing quotas etc.
4. Tuned large database for optimal performance using AWR, STATSPACK, TK Prof, AUTOTRACE, EXPLAIN PLAN, ADDM, SQL Advisor and Performance views.
5. Managing the Tables and Index to provide statistics for tunings.
